Rows of market stalls resembling miniature shophouses, winding alleyways lit by gentle sunrays, rustic design features that evoke a sense of nostalgia- Pasar Kembangan is more than just a conventional marketplace, it is an embodiment of the heritage of Seri Kembangan, a retelling of the town’s history- all within one building. Revitalising the pulse of the town, the new marketplace aims to bring all on a journey of rediscovery, in experiencing the beauty of Seri Kembangan through a vibrant and lively marketing experience.

The marketplace serves as a prominent new landmark between the network of shophouses along the streets of Seri Kembangan,. Taking inspiration from the cultural essence and typology of Seri Kembangan, the marketplace brings new life to the town with its playful reinterpration of traditional new village architecture, and its bright, permeable frontage that beckons all to venture into the market.
A lively and vibrant atmosphere fills the interior of the market with the sounds of bargaining and friendly exchanges filling the air. From the first floor, one can overlook the bustling ground floor, where vendors display an array of fresh produce in neat, organized stalls. Farther away, the first floor hosts a food court offering a diverse selection of local delicacies, reflecting the multicultural essence of Seri Kembangan. The aroma of freshly prepared food wafts through the market creating an inviting sensory experience. This new market aspires to provide better facilities while embracing a simple yet significant design, solidifying its place as an enduring icon of Seri Kembangan.
